What we look for

Every collaboration request is manually reviewed. There is no automatic right to publication, placement or linking after submitting a request. A proposed partner should normally demonstrate:

  • Legitimate business: An identifiable business, organisation or product with a functioning, professional website.
  • Audience relevance: Clear relevance to UK Business Stack's audience of UK small businesses choosing software.
  • Substantive content: Useful and substantive content or product information with reasonable reputation and transparency.
  • Appropriate destination: A destination URL relevant to the proposed collaboration, with no deceptive or spam-oriented practices.
  • Genuine reader value: The collaboration would provide genuine value for UK small-business readers, independent of any SEO benefit.

What we will not accept

UK Business Stack may reject proposals involving:

  • Obvious spam sites or link networks
  • Deceptive websites or misleading redirects
  • Malware or unsafe destinations
  • Copied, scraped or low-value content
  • Irrelevant destinations
  • Requests primarily designed to manipulate search rankings
  • Requests demanding keyword-rich anchor text
  • Requests demanding followed ranking-credit links
  • Mass guest-post campaigns
  • Indiscriminate reciprocal-link arrangements

UK Business Stack retains discretion to reject proposals that present unacceptable editorial, reputational, user-safety or search-quality risk.

Additional considerations

UK Business Stack may additionally consider signals such as established audience, relevant traffic, brand presence, quality of existing content, topical authority, business history and product maturity. Traffic is not an automatic acceptance criterion. A strong new product may be acceptable with limited traffic, and a high-traffic website may be rejected if its quality, relevance or business practices are unsuitable.
